Ships nationwideCoffee inspired by music. Artwork inspired by feeling. Small batch roasted for the experience. This is Bush Hill Coffee - music inspired coffee releases from a coffee roaster artist.

This is my first time roasting coffee from this region, and let me tell you, it’s a cup that’s sure to kickstart your day. It’s produced by the Ratnagiri Estate in the Western Ghats, a coffee producer that has been harvesting coffee since 1934.
The aroma and fragrance of this coffee are simply irresistible. It has a rich and complex flavor profile, with notes of chocolate, fig, and caramel. The aftertaste is sweet and smooth, reminiscent of rooibos tea, with a hint of mild citric acidity. The mouthfeel is silky and velvety, making it a truly enjoyable experience.
What sets this coffee apart is the unique science behind its sequential washed processing. The coffee undergoes a 24-hour fermentation in cherry before being depulped and fermented again for 18 hours in mucilage. This meticulous process ensures that the coffee retains its natural flavors and aromas. Finally, the coffee is fully washed and dried on raised beds for 14 days, resulting in a cup of exceptional quality.
This coffee is definitely a must-try for all coffee enthusiasts and caffeinated lunatics out there! 🤪

So many things could be said about the inspiration behind this release. Everyone carries daily struggles, and if you really want to feel the weight of the world, all you have to do is look at the news.
Regardless of what you’re facing, there’s one constant we can all count on—starting the day with this wonderful gift of coffee. This is a blend for everyone. Whether it’s your daily shot of espresso or that first cup that gets you moving, this one’s got you covered.
The Blend: Peru x Brazil x Ethiopia
Each component is roasted separately at different roast levels, then blended to create a comfortable foundation of chocolate and caramel. Natural sweetness, a rounded body, and a subtle raspberry finish bring it all together.
The Music Inspiration
R.E.M.—Rock & Roll Hall of Famers who used their platform to leave a lasting legacy of social and political activism. Rock and roll has always been rebellious, and these guys left an indelible mark on what it means to use the power of music to affect change in the world.

Ethiopia—the birthplace of coffee. For many of us, experiencing coffee from this remarkable country is unforgettable.
Ethiopia Habtamu Fikadu Aga, Jejeba Outgrowers has a fruit forward profile with subtle notes of apricot, bergamot, honey, and lemon-lime. This is a cup to savor and sip, take your time with and enjoy. It’s an excellent option for flash brewed iced coffee as well.
Because this coffee is grown at a high elevation, the coffee beans are smaller than what you typically expect to see. This made it an ideal fit with the album cover art inspired by Blink-182

Creating a blend is like songwriting—pairing notes and influences not just in roasting, but also in brewing. This release brings together two of my favorite regions to capture an elegant, expressive cup: jammy pome fruit, toffee sweetness, and cooked berries that make the cup come alive from first sip to last.
Music Inspiration: Duran Duran
The 80s were a pivotal era in music, marked by an evolution of sound and style that laid the groundwork for the 90s, 00s, and beyond. To me, Duran Duran is quintessential British New Wave, not just for their music, but for how they defined visual storytelling through video.
This release is my love letter to the band, inspired by their 1982 album Rio. They have so many incredible songs to experience so put one on, press play, and sip slowly while you savor this release.
