Holy Roller Coffee

Why Holy Roller Coffee? First, what does it mean to be holy? To be holy is to be set apart—beautiful, creative, and intentional. I believe coffee—when sourced, roasted, and brewed with care—can be holy. It can be a catalyst for sacred moments: a quiet cup shared with a friend, the tantalizing aroma of fresh-ground beans, or a silent prayer rising with the steam in the early morning. My journey to Holy Roller, to coffee as sacred beverage, wasn't a straight line. It involved a pulpit, a bicycle accident, a traumatic brain injury, and five years of finding God in the ordinary: as a grocery bagger, teacher, and neighbor. As a micro-roaster specializing in light, single-origin roasts, I seek to honor the bean and the ritual, and hope that Holy Roller can bring a note of the sacred to your everyday moments.
